Plastics have become an integral part of our lives. Our children's toys, food storage, and the medical industry depend on it. Though plastics offer many benefits, they also have an increasing number of impacts. Birds are just one of the groups of animals that are affected by our growing dependency on plastics. Dr. Bonfield will explore the topic of plastics and how we can work together to reduce our plastic use and protect birds, our environment, and ultimately ourselves.
Dr. Susan Bonfield is the Director of Environment for the Americas (EFTA), a non-profit organization that works across the globe to connect people to bird conservation.
